California Privacy Notice
If you are a resident of California, the processing of your Personal Information may be subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. The CCPA provides California residents with certain rights.
This California Privacy Notice (“CA Notice”) supplements our general Privacy Statement and applies to Personal Information about California residents who are covered by the CCPA that Leidos Digital Solutions, Inc. (“DSI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes in connection with the Intranet Quorum solution (“IQ”) available at leidosiq.com (the “Site”).
Personal Information We Collect about California Residents
California law requires that we provide disclosures to you about what Personal Information we collect by reference to the enumerated categories of Personal Information set forth within California law. To address this obligation, we have identified the relevant enumerated categories for the Personal Information described in the “What Types of Personal Information Are Collected via the Site” section of our Privacy Statement. For each category of Personal Information (in bold), we have provided a few examples of the types of Personal Information we may collect. These examples are not an exhaustive list of the types of Personal Information we collect.
- Identifiers – names, postal addresses, email addresses, and/or telephone numbers, preferred method of contact, and other Personal Information voluntarily provided to us;
- Internet / Network Information – IP addresses, device IDs, social media usernames, and/or other similar identifiers;
- Inferences – such as inferences derived from Analytics Data as described in the “Data Collected for Analytics, Marketing and Advertising Purposes” section of our Privacy Statement; and
- Other Personal Information – any Personal Information you voluntarily provide to us.
We may at times receive or process Personal Information to create deidentified information that can no longer reasonably be used to infer information about, or otherwise be linked to, a particular individual or household. Where we maintain deidentified information, we will maintain and use the information in deidentified form and not attempt to reidentify the information except as required or permitted by law.
We also purchase voter data from L2, Inc. (“L2”), which we sell to our customers to help our customers better communicate with their constituents. These records are purchased only when our customers, who are elected officials and government offices, request that these records are provided to them. You may review L2’s Privacy Policy for further information about L2’s practices with respect to Personal Information.
The voter data our customers purchase may contain the following categories of Personal Information:
- Contact Information – voters’ names, postal addresses, email addresses, and/or phone numbers;
- Individual Data – information about your gender, ethnicity, military status, occupation, and other identity information;
- Voting history – information about whether you voted in prior elections, but not how you voted in prior elections; and
- Household and Consumer Information – information about the number of voters in your household, whether you own your home, whether you own a computer, the Congressional district you live in, and whether you have any pets.
Voter data may also contain information reflecting inferences about:
- issues you may be passionate about,
- politicians you may support or oppose,
- your preferred source of news,
- your hobbies and interests, and
- whether you are likely to engage in certain behaviors like using social media.

Sources of Personal Information We Collect about California Residents
We may collect Personal Information from different sources including those provided below:
- L2, as referenced above;
- information provided to us directly from California residents;
- our customers and prospective customers;
- our affiliates and subsidiaries;
- our advertising and marketing partners;
- conference organizers;
- our joint venture and strategic partners; and
- publicly available sources.
Purposes for Which We Process Personal Information
Except for voter data, which we process only at the direction of our customers and solely for the purpose of making this information available to our customers for their own use, we may process the Personal Information for the following purposes, as further described in our Privacy Statement:
- to deliver marketing and advertising messages, or to otherwise communicate with you, our customers, or prospective customers at your or their request;
- to provide information or otherwise respond to requests for information, such as information about our services, our expertise in various areas or our publications;
- for legitimate business purposes, such as in connection with performance under a contract, bidding on a contract, or as otherwise necessary to meet contractual or legal obligations;
- to conduct research, analytics, and development;
- to identify and address bugs or system errors;
- to protect our systems against malicious or unauthorized activity and to investigate any suspected malicious or unauthorized activity;
- to conduct internal auditing;
- to protect our property and enforce our rights;
- as authorized or required by law; and
- for any other purpose stated when you provide your Personal Information to us or as described in this California Privacy Notice.
Personal Information We Sell or Share about California Residents
Our practices with respect to the sale or sharing of your Personal Information vary depending on whether you are a customer, prospective customer, or visitor to the Site, or if your Personal Information is included in the voter data we provide to our customers. These kinds of disclosures may be deemed selling or sharing personal information under California law, and California residents may have a right to opt out of these disclosures as outlined below in the Right to Opt-Out of Sales or Sharing section.
Sale or Share of Personal Information of Children
The Site is not directed to nor intended for use by minors. We do not knowingly collect or process any Personal Information from or knowingly track the use of our site by children under 16 years old. We also do not sell Personal Information relating to children under 16 years old. If you become aware that we have collected or sold Personal Information about a child under 16 years old, please notify us by email at IQDataRequest@leidos.com.
Disclosing Personal Information for Business Purposes
We do not sell the Personal Information we collect from or about current or prospective customers or visitors to our Site for monetary compensation; however, we may share this information with third parties in connection with our business operations. For example, we may disclose this information to third parties to market our products and services.
We share the following categories of Personal Information for our business purposes. For each category of Personal Information (in bold), we have provided a few examples of the types of Personal Information we may share in connection with our business operations. These examples are not an exhaustive list of the types of Personal Information we share. We may also update this list at any time if we decide to share additional categories of personal information.
- Contact Information – names, email addresses, postal address, and telephone number;
- Online and Unique Identifiers –IP addresses, device identifiers, and similar identifiers;
- Professional Information – employer name, job titles, employment history, and professional organization affiliations; and
- Communications – any Personal Information voluntarily provided to us.
We share these categories of Personal Information with third-party partners and service providers for various reasons, such as: 1) advertising our products and services to potential or existing customers, both online and through direct marketing campaigns, 2) identifying new business opportunities, 3) operating the Site, and 4) providing products and services to our customers.
How Long we Retain Your Personal Information
We will keep the personal information we collect about you for as long as necessary to carry out the purposes set forth in this Privacy Notice or any other notice provided at the time of data collection, but no longer than as required or permitted under applicable law. We dispose of the information we collect in accordance with our retention policies and procedures.
Right to Know What Personal Information We Process about You
If you live in California, you may have the right to request that we disclose to you the categories of Personal Information about you that we have used, disclosed, or sold and the specific pieces of Personal Information about you we collected during the last 12 months. You may request that we provide to you 1) the categories of personal information we collect about you, 2) the categories of sources from which we collected this information, 3) the business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing your Personal Information, 4) the categories of third parties to whom we disclose your Personal Information, and 5) the specific pieces of Personal Information we collected about you. If you are interested in knowing what Personal Information about you we have sold in the last 12 months as part of the voter data purchased from L2 for delivery to our customers, please submit your request to L2 here.
Right to Delete Your Personal Information
If you live in California, you may have the right to request that we delete the Personal Information we have collected from you. To exercise this right, submit a request here. We reserve the right to request identifying documentation from you in certain circumstances, as permitted by law.
Please note, though, that the right to delete your Personal Information is not absolute. For example, we will not delete your Personal Information if we need to process it:
- to provide you with a good or service you have requested;
- to detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activity;
- to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality;
- to use it in a way which is reasonably aligned with your expectations based on your relationship with us;
- to comply with one or more legal obligations;
- to exercise rights provided for by law; and/or
- for lawful internal purposes that are compatible with the context in which you provided your Personal Information to us.

Right to Correct Your Personal Information
California residents also have the right to ask that we correct any inaccurate Personal Information we maintain about you. To exercise this right, submit a request here. If you would like to correct your Personal Information in the voter data purchased from L2, Inc. for delivery to our customers, you may submit your request to L2 here. We reserve the right to request identifying documentation from you in certain circumstances, as permitted by law.
Right to Opt-Out of Sales or Sharing
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to ask us not to sell or share your Personal Information derived from voter data. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your voter data from L2, please submit your request to L2 here. Voter data is purchased from L2, Inc. each time our customers send us a request for purchase. By exercising your right to opt out of sales or sharing with L2, Inc., your Personal Information will be removed from the data provided by L2, Inc. when purchased for delivery to our customers.
If you would like to adjust your cookie settings or opt-out rights under the NAI or DAA self-regulatory programs, please review the sections in our general Privacy Statement about to learn more about these choices. If you opt to adjust your cookie settings, you may experience some inconvenience in your use of our website. For example, you may not receive advertising or other offers from us that are relevant to your interests and needs.
Right to Limit our Processing of Sensitive Personal Information
California residents also have a right to request that we limit our processing of your Sensitive Personal Information to certain purposes permitted by law. Sensitive Personal Information we process may include (1) certain government identification numbers, (2) financial account information, (3) precise geolocation information, (4) information about an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, (5) information about an individual’s religious or philosophic beliefs, (6) information about an individual’s union membership, (7) genetic or health information, (8) information about an individual’s sex life or sexuality, and (9) information about citizenship and immigration status.
If you submit a request to limit our processing of your Sensitive Personal Information, we will limit our use or disclosure of your Sensitive Personal Information to only those processing activities that are permitted by the CCPA. These processing activities may include (1) performing services at your request, (2) preventing, detecting, and investigating security incidents, (3) preventing and prosecuting malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal actions, (4) ensuring the physical safety of others, (5) to provide products and services and to upgrade or enhance those products and services or for other permitted business purposes, or (6) as otherwise permitted by the CCPA. Right to Equal Treatment
If you exercise any of the rights provided to you under the CCPA, we will not treat you less favorably because of your request. We support your desire to exercise these rights, and we will not charge you different fees or provide you with a different level of service if you do except as reasonably necessary to comply with your request.

Exercising Your Rights
To exercise your rights under the CPRA, submit a request here. You will be asked to identify your relationship to DSI and provide the information identified in our Privacy Rights Request Form, which we will use to verify your identity by matching it to information we have previously purchased from L2, Inc., for delivery to our customers. Upon receiving your request, we may communicate with you to obtain additional information that will help us process your request.
You may also exercise your rights by calling us toll-free at +1.888.914.9661. When prompted you will need to enter the following PIN: 002876. Please leave a message with your name, relationship to DSI, the right you wish to exercise, and your email address. If we need to request additional information to process your request, we will contact you using your email address.
However, if you would like to exercise any rights you may have under the CCPA with respect to the voter data purchased from L2, you may do so by submitting your request directly to L2 here.
Using an Authorized Agent
You may have the right to use an authorized agent to exercise your rights under the CCPA on your behalf. To use an authorized agent, your agent will be required to provide evidence that you have granted him or her power of attorney. If you have not granted your authorized agent power of attorney, your authorized agent must provide us with a written and signed statement in which you authorize your agent to act on your behalf, and your authorized agent must verify his or her identity. You will also be required to confirm with us directly that you have authorized your agent to submit the request on your behalf.
Other California Rights
DSI may also share Personal Information with its affiliates and parent companies so that they can send direct marketing communications. For more information, please review the sections in our general Privacy Statement. If you do not wish to receive these communications, please submit a request to opt-out of receiving direct marketing communications at IQDataRequest@leidos.com.
